The NP series is Yamaha’s no-frill keyboard series, focussing instead on providing a compact and lightweight keyboard with satisfying playability. The NP12 provides 61 piano-style keys and 10 instrument sounds, including two pianos, two electric pianos, two organs, two harpsichords, stings and vibraphone.
The NP12 is the perfect keyboard for beginner pianists and more advanced players who want a lightweight portable instrument.
The keyboard can connect directly to a computer via USB to enable interaction with recording and notation software and can be connected to a iOS device via a separately sold lighting camera adaptor or Yamaha’s UD-BT01 Bluetooth adaptor to interact with a range of apps from Yamaha such as Digital Piano Controller, NoteStar and metronome.
Single-track recording is available directly from the keyboard and allows players to quickly jot down an idea or re-listen to their practice.
